Sprinkler Madness

One day we were outside hanging out in the front yard. (It's what we do because our backyard is all pool. Super thankful we live on a cul-de-sac!) It was almost 100 this day so I was letting Isaiah touch the fountain when the sprinklers came on...instinctively I snatched him up and ran for it so he wouldn't get all wet. Then I realized he's a boy he should have fun running around in the water, silly momma. I am slowly learning to relax about the mess or inconvenience of things :) Needless to say my little man had a blast walking around getting soaked. This was one of my favorite days!!

Daddy's New Hobby

Boone has recently discovered his enjoyment of smoking a nice cigar with the boys. Any one who knows my husband also knows that when he starts a new hobby he goes all out. He purchased the best cutter, lighter, humidor and cigars to accessorize his humidor with...of course. One of the things I love the most about him is that when he is passionate about something he goes all out.

Easter with My Cousins

My sister Lisa and her husband Jonas spent the day with us. Of course they brought along two of my favorite Winbolts...Lily and the newest addition Lucas. It was great having them up. Lisa was able to spend a few days with us because Jonas had to finish working in Lancaster. I love having her here!
This is my sweet niece Lily holding Isaiah's hand on Easter. Lucas fell asleep and missed out on all the front yard fun.

Swinging

I love to swing! It's one of my favorite things to do...Grammy and Grampy hung my very own swing at their house for me. They love to love me!

"That is how I roll"
This is one of Daddy's great finds at Walgreens (I think). My shirt says "That is how I roll" These days he's walking more than rollin' but nonetheless this is how I roll.

Just Like Daddy

It's been a long time since we last updated. Isaiah is going to be 16 months on the 19th of this month. Time has flown by. This video was the first time Isaiah mimicked Daddy and I thought it was completely adorable...of course. He did it all on his own. His play phone was on the ground he went to pick it up and started walking in circles just like daddy when he's on the phone. I love my boys!

Happy New Year!

This is our adorable baby boy up in Laughlin. We celebrated New Year's Eve at home in Bakersfield with our friends. We watched the game New Year's Day and then it was off to Laughlin Ranch. For all of those who haven't been to the Ranch I am sorry it is a wonderful place to be.

***This goes out to Grampy...if you ever try and sell our wonderful vacation home I won't give you that baby girl granddaughter you want for us****** (only kidding..or am I) :)

We had a glorious time at the Ranch. The girls (Grammy, Natalie, and myself) got to go to the spa and either get a facial or massage. It truly was the highlight of our vacation. We did a little shopping, a little gambling (thanks Grampy for always funding Grammy and me). I lost it all but Grammy Barb was the true winner walking with a cool $140. Not bad considering we ended on the penny slots after losing most of our money at the quarter slots. Barb and I truly love all the lights and sounds those fun machines make. So this picture is for you Grammy...hat's off to the big winner!

The Fam

One thing Momma really wanted this year she got....a picture of the three of us at our fireplace. We had an eventful holiday season, we traveled all around. Isaiah and I got the flu as soon as we got home. Actually when we were driving back from the O.C. both Isaiah and Momma weren't feeling so well. Other than that it was great to see all of our family.
